About Meself 👋
That mandatory page on every portfolio...
Hi, I am Kaushal Joshi from Mumbai, India. I am a jacks of all trades and master of not giving up. I can code web apps, write technical blogs, documentation, and API specs, manage newsletters, and everything I am thrown at.
I worked at The Dapp List for around two years. I was responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools, implementing new features on products, writing API specs, and a lot more. I also work as a Freelance technical content writer, and write blogs around web dev, open source, AI, trending topics, and anything that I'd get paid for.
Unlike many engineers these days, I have a life beyond my job and tech stack. I like to watch films, go on treks, read books and obsess over a niche thing for months. My current obsessions are public infrastructure & public transport, French revolution and literature.
I wander 🗺
I watch films 🎬
I watch films... a lot! If I had to choose one career path instead of computer science, it would have been film analysis & criticism. Sometimes I still think of taking a break from everyday life (read: job) and do a course on understanding cinema.
Here are my five favorite films of all time...

I read books 📚
A relative always recalls a story from my childhood. He says I used to read everything I was thrown at — even newspaper wrappers! These days I read whatever interests me. And it's almost always something non-fiction, historical or informative. Recently I am trying to grasp my mind on short stories.
Here are my recent favorite books...
I write Stuff ✍️
I already told you that I write technical blogs and stuff. But that's not it! I also write about films, music, TV shows, history, and anything that fuels my brain with curiosity.
It's not the best piece of literature out there, but hey! I absolutely love the process, so who cares?
I am working on bringing them all together at one place at Afterthoughts. Until then, you can read them on Facebook (Yes, I still use it).
Therefore, I am! ✨
I am the places I visit, books I read, films I watch, feelings I experience, thoughts I write, quotes I save and most importantly, things I am obsessed over.
Without these, I don's feel like myself.
